Helping businesses save money through resource efficiency and environmental good practice

Resource Efficiency Clubs

Resource Efficiency Clubs (REC’s) aims to help companies reduce costs through minimising waste and energy consumption, thereby saving money, whilst at the same time protecting the environment.

Guided by Oxfordshire Sustainable Business Partnership, businesses centred on Milton Park in Abingdon have formed a Resource Efficiency Club to improve their use of raw materials and utilities and reduce their costs by more than £800 000 per annum. Membership of the club is free and open to all Oxfordshire companies.

The club is funded by Envirowise under the DEFRA Business Resource Efficiency & Waste (BREW) programme of recycling landfill tax revenue back to UK business.
